RESERVATIONS/CANCELLATIONS

Extensive and/or multiple salon services may require a major credit card to secure appointments. If you must reschedule or cancel appointments, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid an automatic credit card charge of 50% of the price of the services reserved. For a ‘no show’, your credit card is automatically charged for the full value of services. Groups or parties must give at least thirty days notice to avoid a 50% cancellation fee.

ARRIVAL

We appreciate you arriving early for your appointment.  Our stylists are professionals, must service numerous clients each day and stay on time. If you are late for an appointment, it may be necessary to reschedule. Your stylist will do his/her best to accommodate you. In order to ensure total relaxation and enhance treatment results, we encourage you to arrive 15 minutes prior to your salon service. New clients must arrive 15 minutes early so we can get a profile for your consultation and collect relevant information. 

CHILD SAFETY POLICY

Children are only permitted in the salon area when having a service. For safety reasons and insurance purposes, no child under the age of 12 may accompany you while you are having a service. We do not have the facilities to care for children. We love children, and we hope you understand, we cannot assure their safety in a professional environment. We also do not want to compromise the relaxation of our guests. YOUR UNDERSTANDING IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

ATTIRE

While we take care to protect your attire, WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGED ITEMS AND CLOTHING.

ATMOSPHERE

The salon offers each guest the chance to relax in a tranquil setting. While in the salon, we appreciate you turning off your cell phone/pager while being serviced. We want you to be engaged with your stylist to learn and understand the services and why they are being provided. Of course, if you are color processing, feel free to use your portable devices. We offer free WIFI for you convenience.

Please let us know your preferences, whether it is in the room temperature, volume of music, etc, so we can provide the most enjoyable service.

PREGNANCY

Let us guide you in selecting suitable treatments which take into consideration this special time.

JEWELRY & PERSONAL ITEMS

We cannot be responsible for loss or damage to personal articles, including clothing and accessories. When using the salon, please leave valuable items at home.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Jennifer Michaels Hair Studio Gift Certificates are redeemable only within the State where purchased. Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash. Gift Certificates are non-refundable. The value of a Gift Certificate will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed, altered or used without your permission. Gift Certificates must be presented at time of service. Gift Certificates can not be used for tips.

REDEEMING GIFT CERTIFICATE WON AT FUND-RAISER

If you are the recipient of a Gift Certificate you won or bid for at a charity event or fund-raiser, you must inform the Client Service Representative when you call to schedule your appointment.

FORMS OF PAYMENT

We reserve the right to change prices and services at anytime without notification. We accept all Major Credit Cards, Travelers Checks, and Cash; but please, no Personal Checks.

RETURNS

Retail products may be exchanged with an original receipt within 14 days. We do not offer refunds or apply credit toward services for returned merchandise.

BRIDAL ON-LOCATION POLICY

A minimum of two people is required for On-Location services. Prices are based on venues located within a close proximity to each salon. When extended travel is required, additional charges may apply. Additional conditions are listed on the bridal contract document.
